Making an Order
You will find all the information you need on your contact lens prescription that has been provided for you by your optometrist. This information should include your prescription for both the left and right eye. It will include the recommended brand and manufacturer along with the power (PWR, D, SPH), base curve (BC) and diameter (DIA). For astigmatism prescriptions you will we also need the CY (cylinder) and AX (axis) data.
Alternatively if you already have a prescription you will find this information on your contact lens box or printed on the contact lens blister packaging. Want to read more? Visit our blog post on how to read your contact lens prescription.
Once you have located your lens select your prescription options from the drop down selectors for either your left eye, right eye or both. Once you have made your selections don’t forget to add the quantity you require. Then click the Add to Cart button. If you only need a box for your left eye keep the quantity for the right eye at 0 and visa versa.
Health Fund Rebates
If you have optical cover with a private health fund you can claim a rebate for your prescription contact lenses purchased from Online Lenses. Cosmetic contact lenses without prescription are usually not subject to a rebate.
We will send you an itemised tax invoice after you have completed your contact lens order for your private health fund provider.
Delivery and Returns
Online Lenses ships within Australia only. Overseas delivery is not available. Orders over $99 attract free postage. Orders under $99 are charged at a standard rate of $9.50.
Your order will arrive via courier between 3-5 working days from date of order. Exact delivery times will be determined by your location. If you contact lenses are out of stock, you will receive an email from our staff with an anticipated date of arrival. Exact delivery times will be determined by your location and manufacturer delay.
As soon as you place your order, you should receive email confirmation that your order has been received and an addition email when you order is on its way. If your order is taking longer than anticipated, please do not hesitate to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our delivery company will now be leaving your order at your door unattended if you are not home. Please indicate in the order notes on the checkout page if you would prefer a different option.
In the event that a return or exchange is required or desired – simply contact us directly at email@example.com. Include your name and order number / invoice number details. Online Lenses are happy to provide a refund on any unopened, unmarked and resalable contact lens boxes within 14 days. The refund applies to the contact lenses only. The cost of returning the contact lenses will only be paid by us if there is an error with your order. A restocking fee of $25 may apply so please contact us before returning your lenses.
If you don’t want to create an account you can checkout as a guest. Alternatively you can create an account. An account can be created at checkout or you can select the login/register button on the menu bar at any time.

If you don’t remember your password don’t worry. Click on the login/register button on the menu bar. On the left hand side underneath the login button you will see a link that says Lost your password? (you can also click on the link here)
Log into your account. From your dashboard select the “orders button”. Here you will find all your orders. To the right of your order click print invoice. You can also select view and at the bottom of you order are options to order again, print invoice and download invoice.
